Emily Edge

(RSW, MSW)

Psychotherapist

I am a registered social worker and a mom of two boys who keep me on my toes. I possess a Bachelor of Social Work degree with a minor in Psychology from Carleton University as well as a Master of Social Work Degree from The University of Windsor.

I work with individuals navigating anxiety, life transitions, relationship issues, perinatal mental health, parenthood, and shared parenting issues. In my practice, I draw on evidence based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Person-Centred Therapy, Compassion-Focused Therapy and Narrative Therapy.

I believe self-compassion is essential for healing and that therapy is a collaborative process – through this process, you are always the expert of your own lived experience. I offer a space grounded in empathy, respect, and non-judgment for you to explore your inner world as your authentic self-fostering growth, and meaningful change.
